✧ Sixth Rebellion ✧ A Calm and Pleasant Life Is Not For Me [Action]
Closed to Han -
[After three weeks as a child, waking up as her adult self again is a bit of a change. She remembers everything that transpired and grimaces at most of it. The time she spent with Padmé was nice, almost like her childhood with both Sabé and Breha around. However, she doesn't reflect easily on a few interactions.
Luckily, she's always worn loose pyjamas to bed and she's not a very large woman, so walking around in the night gown she fell asleep in isn't too uncomfortable. And the fact that it's very early in the morning helps so that no one sees her steal from the guest room where Luke put her and into the room she normally shares with Han.
She finds him asleep in their bed and she realizes just how much she's missed him, despite seeing him everyday. It... was definitely not the same and she can only imagine the pain he must of gone through to find his already younger wife changed into a girl only a few years older than their daughter. Instead of climbing into the bed with him, she sits on the empty side, amused that he is holding her pillow while he sleeps.
After she's had enough time to calm herself, Leia leans forward and gently touches Han's shoulder. It should be enough to wake him up. He's never been a very heavy sleeper.]
You know, I might have wanted my pillow back.
House 46 Residents
[Hello, family. Instead of a cute little girl at the breakfast table waiting for food to magically appear like it always does, today you get a slightly tired but happy to be normal again woman. Enjoy the slight normalcy as she attempts to drink a cup of coffee and make pancakes for everyone without burning them.]
Around the village -
[Despite her lovely little Shift, Leia is going about her business as if things over the last three weeks haven't changed. She stops off at the Library to return some books she borrowed. She visits both Seventh Heaven and the cafe that Helios runs above it to check in with her former cooking instructors. She makes a stop at the smithy to bring Han (and Sokka, she hopes), lunch from the restaurant. Her final stop is the Battle Dome, where she spends an hour practicing with her lightsaber, trying to get the feel of it in her hands again to not be awkward.]

You've been good for me as well, I think. I've never really had a chance to mentor someone until now. It's been an enlightening experience for me. And I've learned just as much from you as I hope you have from me.

Well I'm glad then that my time in Luceti amounted to something. You know, other than just fetching food for everyone. [Because, for the most part, that is what it seemed like he mostly did... other than making the occasional weapon for someone.]
no subject
[She knows him too well to believe that at all.]
Besides, who else would make me laugh so?
no subject
[Sokka clearly isn't giving himself some of the credit of volunteering outside of the Luceti barrier and, not to mention, keeping several of his friends entertained and in high spirits.]
But I suppose that's true. I'm just glad you appreciate it.

[Self-deprecating is for the birds. Don't be as pompous as Han, but you can definitely toot your own horn every once in a while.]
Someone who can make other's laugh is always well appreciated.

I know, I know. Then again, it's still hard to think that everything isn't entirely behind us yet, that everything isn't quite fine. There's still stuff yet to come.

That's what we have to keep in mind as we go forward, Sokka. Having new and interesting friends is all well and good, and I for one don't want to forget that we've met, but I also want to return to my friends and my sister.

[She might not be inclined that way herself, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the logic part of her brain.]
no subject
Hmm, I actually hadn't. I guess I've just been led to believe that we were kind of stuck here, and that nothing had ever gained traction when it came to going home.
But maybe it'd be an idea that could bear some new ideas.
no subject
[And not just because he's her brother.]
He's been her for over three years now and might have some information that will hel,p you out.
no subject
Still, maybe that's a good place to start.
[He'll have to mull it over.]
no subject
And he's been here for a while.
no subject
...
He works at the farm, too, right? Am I misremembering that?
no subject
[Since that's where his girlfriend works too.]
no subject
Oh yeah, I guess he does work there. I'll go pay him a visit.
[Sokka grins to Leia.]
Anything else while you're here? You're not looking for a fine quality sword are you?
no subject
[Does she want a sword? She has Vader's lightsaber, true, and she's getting much better with it every day. But their sword training lessons would go easier if she had her own weapon that wasn't made out of lasers or borrowed from someone else.
Besides, Han would look dashing with a sword at his side, as well as his blaster.]
IF it's not too much trouble, Sokka, could you make two swords? One for myself and one for Han. I'd like the second to be a surprise for him.
no subject
[Ah, Leia, at least you acknowledge that you're a busybody. At least you're a kindred spirit in that, even if you're a bit overkill in that regard.]
Two swords, huh? Oh, I could probably whip that up pretty soon. Ayup, not like I have tons of weapons to make at the moment. But I'll come up with something nice for the both of you. And don't worry, I won't tell Han a thing. Will you be needing that gift-wrapped as well?
no subject
[Which is true, Sokka. You know it is.]
There is no definite rush, but I would appreciate having them when they're done. As far as gift-wrapping goes, that won't be necessary. I'd only need simple scabbards for both.
[gagtag]
[I have searched my feelings, Leia. I know it to be true.]
I'm getting better at scabbards, but Raven and Leon still do a little bit better job than I do. I'll see what I can do about that. The swords themselves will take... maybe two weeks? So... at least by the end of the... January is it?
[He's still getting used to these newfangled months of theirs.]
