Luke's Home - Bathroom
[Between the fighting with the remnants of the Empire, never-ending meetings and trying to fit in time to train her power with the Force alongside her twin, Leia hadn't seen Han Solo for more than three or four minutes at a time. In nearly a year. Having a relationship with anyone was virtually impossible and it was starting to wear thin.
She remembers going to bed in some hole that offered nothing more than something that might have been palatable to eat before falling into a deep sleep, but maybe because she had been so exhausted that she couldn't really taste it.
What she doesn't remember is moving at any time in the night. So, to open her eyes and finding herself in a...bathing room is different. But the itch between her shoulder blades and the nearly see-through white dress that falls to her knees is familiar in a dream-like sort of way.]
Again?
[Carefully, she stands and wonders vaguely why she has a headache. Didn't she have one the last time she arrived too? Looking around the small, enclosed space, she can't find any of her clothes or her blasters and sighs. That damned book is sitting on the back of the toilet though, looking innocent as can be.]
They could have at least left my things nearby like last time. Walking through the entirety of the village in this outfit isn't exactly what I had in mind with my day.
[With a careful look in the mirror to see that she does indeed have the strange forest-green wings once more and shakes her head before turning the knob to find out where she is.]
Later - Action/Text
[After a very interesting welcome back, Leia heads out to make herself acquainted with the village once more. Luceti has changed in the almost-year she's been gone, but it remains much the same. The library still seems to have books from every galaxy and world that the residents are from. The general store still has much of what one would need, including the backroom where all of her belongings were neatly stacked when she walked in. The grocery store is still stocked with foodstuffs for nearly any taste.
But there is a feeling of a profound change in the air, and one that doesn't bode well for those here. It doesn't sit well with her. She'd seen Luceti as a way to get away from the troubles back home. Now, she's not sure what to think of it.
Especially not with the group that's gathered in her brother's home now. It leaves her with a lot to think about. Which is now she ends up spending most of the day in the library.]
I'm not sure how many of you remember me from my previous visit, but I am Leia Organa. I understand that there was a recent bout of fighting and many of you are recovering from the conflict. I've done a little reading up about our situation. I would prefer to get your own views on our...oppressors.

[His smile dims a bit.]
He's just learned that Palpatine is Darth Sideous, and hasn't really begun his fall to the Dark Side yet. He knows mother was pregnant, and that's it.
no subject
[Just saying the Sith Lord's name brings many images to mind and a sea of emotions that flash briefly in her eyes before she breaths deeply to clear her mind.]
Right. I need to find my clothes and blasters but...tell me this. How did it go between Mother and Han?
no subject
And...well...he had a hard time believing that. In my time, a lot of people have impersonated our mother, attempting to claim us as their children. He's understandably wary.
no subject
[She smiles wryly as she thinks about her conversations with the previous Anakin and Vader when he was alive.]
I doubt that I would be able to keep from being angry as I spoke to him.
[Very much his daughter, Leia knows herself well.]
What do they hope to garner from trying to impersonate our mother when we are...Skywalkers? Have they forgotten what it means to be around Jedi so easily?
no subject
Well, remember that Palpatine did his best to remove all knowledge of the Jedi from the galaxy. What these women may or may not know I can't speak on, but very, very few people really understand what the Jedi are able to do.
And more than a few of them honestly feel like we need a mother figure, and aren't trying to grab fame.
no subject
I had a mother. She was a wonderful woman. Both of them were excellent women that anyone would be proud to claim as their own. I don't need another.
no subject
As for these other women, we generally just send them on their way with some credits.
no subject
[It's just so...insulting that these women would lie like that, whether they thought that Leia and Luke need a mother figure or were looking for the perks that came with being tied to the two of them. But more than that, it makes her miss Breha in a way that is nearly tangible. The Queen of Alderaan and Bail Organa were wonderful parents. They were always with Leia, in her memories and helping her as she struggled to do what was right for everyone.
But, trying to deny that she was the biological daughter of Anakin Skywalker is ludicrous. She's much too much like him and everyone knows it. Perhaps, if her father's Force Ghost had given her time to absorb the information, instead of bombarding her on Bakura, she might not have rejected him quite so thoroughly. Then again, she might have. It was a touchy subject and one that would be poked continuously for the rest of her life.
She needed to change the subject.]
I suppose that I now have time to train again, seeing as how I won't be continuously traveling to save the Galaxy from evil. With you, General Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker all here, I have my choice in instructors as well.

no subject
I'd probably be more comfortable with you as my instructor anyway. When is the best time for you to start? I think we have it here.

[Really, clearing her mind is probably the hardest thing that anyone has ever asked of her. Since the tender age of seven, she's been defying the status quo and working to make the Galaxy better. So, being asked to stop and think of nothing, do nothing, for stretches of time is more difficult for her than anything else.
But, if she can focus on it and make it a priority, she can help her brother and Han more. And that thought is more than acceptable to her, no matter where she is.]
It's not something that comes to me easily. I'll just have to work at it, won't I?
no subject
[He flashes her a Skywalker smile, reaching out to squeeze her shoulder reassuringly.]
You'll do like you always do and excel.
no subject
I don't have much of a choice now, do I? You've proclaimed that I can, so I must.
